1. Initial Consultation 


Showroom appointments are highly encouraged. A complimentary showroom consultation is the first step to discussing your project with our design team. Bring all relevant information such as your room dimensions and your wish list. Appliances, fixtures, and finishes are discussed broadly only at this stage, so no specific decisions need to be made during this first meeting.

For whole house cabinetry projects, we will choose the main and largest area to initiate our proposal. For closet(s) only projects we offer an in-home consultation that starts at $250 paid prior to our designer’s arrival. This amount is credited to your order.

An online account for sharing all documentation related to your project will be created for you on our project management and collaboration platform. This saves everyone time and ensures great communication.

2. Design Presentation


During the second showroom meeting, we will present our proposal with 3D renderings and an estimate for the work and materials discussed. With a detailed walk-through of the designs you will gain a clear understanding of our proposed vision and recommendations, along with the principles behind them. By the end of this meeting, you should have enough information to decide to proceed with Dell Anno.

At this point you will be asked to pay a design retainer before any design and drawings will be released or revised, or site visits for measuring arranged. The design retainer is credited to your project when you do place your order. Should you decide not to proceed at this time, the fee paid will remain on account with Dell Anno for a period of one year to be used towards your project order.

3. Revision

Once a design retainer is settled, your designer and our Project Manager will visit your site to verify measurements and site conditions. Changes may be made based on our findings.

Once your final design has been confirmed a contract will be issued with a fixed quotation for the final project, incorporating cabinetry, countertops, lighting hardware, and installation.

4. Ordering

To confirm an order, a signed contract and the specified deposit will be required, 50% of the total contract is typical. The final detailed service drawings will then be completed and issued to all appropriate parties, and also require final approval.

All component parts for the project are placed on order with our manufacturers. Lead time for custom cabinetry is typically 12-14 weeks from date of order. There may be seasonal variations, such as Christmas and Carnival season

5. Installation

An installation date is chosen and agreed upon. Continued communication between our operations team and your contractors monitors the condition and progress of your site. The full remaining balance will be due ten working days prior to the delivery and installation on site.

The actual installation time can only be estimated per project size and site conditions. Completion targets for single areas is from 1 to 3 days, for multiple areas 5-10 days if site conditions and associated products (countertops, electrical) are also scheduled accordingly. Installation times vary due to complexity of each project.

Our Team

Cindy Chen – Design Consultant

With 2 Wood Product Processing Science Bachelor degrees, one from Beijing Forestry University and one from UBC consecutively, Cindy is a meticulous designer and project lead. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Interior Design from BCIT while designing kitchens and whole house cabinetry packages at Dell Anno. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and is hoping to pick up some Portuguese from the Brazilian team.

What the Dell Anno team and her clients love the most about Cindy is her infinite attention to detail and patience with every aspect of her large scale projects. There is simply no stone left unturned when working with Cindy.

Kalin Naue – Design Consultant

Kalin has a degree in Architecture & Urban Planning from the State University of Maranhão in Brazil. He had a successful architect’s practice in the North of Brazil and decided to come to Canada for 6 months to learn English but he found a little bit more than that (love!). He moved to Vancouver permanently 4 years ago and has been taking Interior Design courses at BCIT, travelling and consulting on various private residential
and commercial design projects.

Kalin’s artistry and precise design vision is sure to impress design lovers 100%! We all love his creative and playful nature as he manages to infuse joy in every interaction, while thinking of everything a well designed space needs.

We’re delighted and very grateful to have him in our team and to be able to design magic with him.

Lyle Dueck – Master Kitchen and Bath Designer

Simply put, Lyle’s kitchen designs and reputation for excellence are legendary in the West Coast. He started out working at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood a couple of decades ago, then opened Contour Kitchens in Yaletown, and most recently owned and led Westwerk Built Interiors in Vancouver. He has taught and mentored many successful kitchen designers, while designing exquisite and luxurious kitchens for
the finest homes in Shaughnessy, West Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland.

Lyle has extensive experience with local and imported high-end luxury product lines. He is fluent in both traditional and modern European design styles.

Besides his lifetime experience granting him the title of Master Kitchen Designer among us, what we love the most about Lyle is his open hearted good nature, his ability to connect with everyone and make them feel comfortable.

Stephen Grummisch – VP Operations

Stephen has over 15 years of experience engineering and overseeing installations of
custom designed and manufactured organizational systems for closets, media centers, wall units, garages, mudrooms, pantries, laundry rooms etc. At Dell Anno, he leads the execution and installation of every single project after the initial design concept is approved.

He makes sure our design concepts are feasible from an installation perspective, that the installation itself will go smoothly and that our products will live up to their warranties. He has a very technical mind and attitude about most things, except when it comes to the huge soft spot for 4 legged companions of the canine kind.

The most appreciated trait Stephen brings to our team is his can-do attitude for complex design projects coupled with a genuine desire to please everyone around him with his unique skill set and experience.

Cynthia Schuh – CAD Design Specialist

Cynthia is our newest Brazilian asset. With 15 + years of experience in designing custom home interiors and storage systems for every room of the home in Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro she brings a fresh and authentic #bossanova perspective. She creates beautiful 3D rendering packages for our presentations, plus she is the daily connection to our manufacturing partner in Brazil, working closely with the VP Operations finalizing orders and making sure designs are feasible for a smooth installation.

One of the things we love and appreciate about Cynthia is that she is extremely focused and tenacious. Her easy going and joyful personality makes it a pleasure to work with her every day.

Jessica Savarese – Design Consultant

Jessica was born in Italy, acquired a Master’s degree in architecture there, where she worked for Architectural firms until she started her own practice. She lived in many different places from Iceland to China, giving her the flexibility to adapt and understand different cultures. She speaks Italian, English and French (and Icelandic).

She started focusing more on interior design when she lived in New York and attended some Interior design courses to pursue her passion for interiors. When she moved to Vancouver she graduated in interior design at the LaSalle College and has worked for almost 5 years with different Italian kitchen companies.

She had the opportunity to work on very high end projects but also on large multifamily ones of various scales. Thanks to this experience she has learned how to adapt Italian kitchen cabinetry to the Canadian way of living.

We love having Jessica’s bright mind and experienced eye on our team.

Jessica Savarese

John Duffield – Vice President

John is as our Vice President, acting as a manufacturing, quality and logistics consultant to Dell Anno Canada. He has worked in the custom cabinetry industry for nearly 40 years and knows just about everyone, methods and every material available. John sources what we need from anywhere in the world, if a locally manufactured option to our standards and client preferred price point is not available.

We appreciate John’s endless knowledge and resourcefulness.

John Duffield – Vice President

Claudia Duffield – President

Born in Brazil of Italian descent, Claudia moved to England first at age 18, and then immigrated to Canada 19 years ago. She is our resident custom closet design expert with over 20,000 hours of custom home storage design experience. Besides being in charge of keeping all showroom plants alive, Claudia is also in charge of our marketing, vision, and overall team harmony.
